VIDEO: iPad Case Review of Rev360

Hey, I learned something really cool today. You can easily place a parameter in embedded YouTube videos to make them start at a specific point. For example, the video above was 9:36 long but we wanted to highlight the portion with the Rev360 iPad case.

This embed is in an iframe and I just added ?start=490 at the end of the video’s URL. The parameter has to be in total seconds, not minutes and seconds. So this starts the video at 8:10.

I notice however that once it plays through, restarting the video without refreshing the page, of course, starts at the very beginning of the video. You can learn more about YouTube parameters here.

ArtRage – Release Your Inner iPad Artist

ArtRage is an amazing application for the iPad that you can use to draw and paint just like on a real canvass. The only thing is that you’ll have to splash house paint on your messy t-shirt to convince your friends you’ve been painting.

ArtRage for the iPad

If you want to stand outside and do landscapes, you don’t even need an easel. Just use Rev360 iPad stand to more easily hold and manipulate the iPad. Just think of all the attention you’d get. You could even do portraits at the local county fair.

iPad Ergonomics: It’s in the Hand

This early-release video touting the wonders of the iPad leaves out one very important issue: it’s hard to handle comfortably. Watch this guy in the video and note how uncomfortable his hands look no matter what he’s doing.

It makes my hand tired just watching him. This is the very reason for the genesis of Rev360. To get the most out of the wonderful iPad, you have to be able to comfortably and easily manipulate it in all situations and positions. You must also be able to rotate between landscape and portrait mode and back again in 360 degrees.

Rev360 iPad case provides this level of usability and comfort. You’ll get more out of your investment and have less hand fatigue.

iPad Case Review: Rev360

Gadget Review
by Christen da Costa

The Rev360 iPad case itself is crafted of an all black semi-hard (the maker says silicon) plastic finish that protects the back and edges of the iPad. You’ll have to wrestle with it a bit to get the iPad completed inserted, and even afterwards you might find, as I did, the bottom portion, where the slot for the 30-pin dock resides, is loose. A set of ports exposes the iPad’s volume, mic and now mute button, while a set of plastic buttons cover the volume and lock switch that take a fair bit of effort to engage them (read more).

The iPad case Does Double Duty
by Nancy Gravley

Rev360 iPad case is an ergonomically designed product for the iPad. Not only does it allow the user to safely hold the iPad in one hand with a 360° rotation option, but it also serves as a slightly elevated stand for desk top use. The product itself is molded polyurethane, the same product used to make skateboard wheels. However, it is fairly flexible and it is easy to insert and remove the iPad. The Rev360 is available in black or white, sells for US$59.95 and is only available through the company web site (read more).

Rev360 designed to keep your iPad in your hands

There are many accessories available in the market to use with your iPad some more useful than others. Rev360 is the new baby of Hub International and it sure hits the mark. I must say I quite like it so I thought my not give an honest opinion about this cool find. Unlike the numerous flimsy accessories available in the market the Rev360 is sturdy and durable as it is made from silicone. The rotating disk is quite cool and a great way to flip your iPad from landscape to portrait which I find extremely handy (more).
